Christmas Memories :-)

One Christmas morning I woke up to find both my grandmas there waiting for my brother and me..The house I grew up in was medium sized, so whenever my grandma,grandpa and uncles would come out from Illinois,they would sleep in sleeping bags on the living room floor Christmas eve..My uncle Steve would say "i've got my camera and I'll take a picture of Santa when he comes by" When I would ask him if he got the picture he would say "oops..I fell asleep" My great uncle John ran the family hardware store and every Christmas I would get really nice pocket knives,flashlights and other great stuff..of course I was a kid and lost them :-( In 1974..I asked for an AM/FM radio and got one with shortwave on it..I've been hooked ever since..I am fortunate in that my holidays growing up were very warm and loving..they still are..
